Felipe Oliveira Baptista

As soon as I saw this picture at Café Mode I had to re-check Felipe Oliveira Baptista summer collection. It's been a while since the Portuguese designer is under my radar, but only a stranger made me realise how much I like what he does (don't worry, I've already smacked myself).

From this particular show, I like the volumes and silhouettes, and the masks would have been a great alternative for the MET gala.

Bear with me (and my latest obsession): You really got me - The Kinks

ooh, I just love these designs! The masks are really fun. In reply to your question, my course is validated by the university of Bath (in the UK) however I am looking to move from this course as it is not the course for me. : ) xx

Ah really? I've looked at ESMOD and Studio Bercot on the web and it's not clear if they do illustration courses or not? I'll have a look at the other also. Are you going to study in Paris? Do you study at the mo? What do you do? 101 questions, sorry! xx

It's understandable. Sometimes you see something you like but it isn't until you see it out of the runway or in a way you hadn't thought of that you're left amazed!
