Balenciaga

Being Spanish, I must pay tribute to Balenciaga. The first Spanish (and probably the last one) contribution to fashion. My intention was to post something about Cristóbal Balenciaga, but I was watching the amazing fall/winter show on style.com and I decided to write about it.

Blazers and scarves are basics in my wardrobe. I wear them everyday. And this garments were the key of the first part of the collection. I wish I had the money to buy one of those gorgeous blazers.

My New York fashion week favourite is Proenza Schouler. Tons of chiffon dresses adorned with beads, fur, satin...A Zar empire reminiscence.

Clémence Poésy

Clémence is a french actress, most famous for playing Fleur Delacour in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I adore her style. The range of colours she usually wears is pretty simple: black, white and blue. However she shows how textures make the difference.

Oh la la Chloë!

Chloë Sevigny has a very interesting sense of style. I draw clothes (as a hobby) and she always inspires me. I consider her my muse. She has her own personality, she doesn't copy anybody and that's what I like most about her. And she has the greatest legs I have ever seen.

As Marc Jacobs once said: "she (Chloë) stands out in a sea of often cliched-looking actresses."

Julia Restoin-Roitfeld

Julia wears a blazer by Givenchy,leggings by Philea,shoes by Repetto and ring by Dior.

Julia Restoin-Roitfeld is the daughter of Carine Roitfeld the editor-in-chief of French Vogue. She graduated last May from Parsons school of design. And she has great style.

In my opinion, the best part of being Carine Roitfeld daughter is that she can raid her mum's closet whenever she wants. Carine recently said: "My wardrobe is not a museum. I don't keep things. And I give all my vintage to my daughter".

Her style could be defined as rock-chic. She mixes mini skirts with leather jackets and high heels.

I adore the style of this girl. She looks so deck.
Note to myself: I must get that haircut.

Does her outfit look plain? No, and the reason why is because she has chosen the right accessories. What apparently would be simple -jeans, a basic top and a jacket- became fashionable and trendy with the combination of a purple jacket with a brooch, and the jeans tucked into a pair of brown flat boots. The belt and the aviators sunglasses are just perfect.

Irina Lazareanu

In this post, I am going to talk about Irina Lazareanu, my favourite model at the moment.
Some info that I found about her:


"Irina Lazareanu is a Canadian supermodel. She was formerly the drummer for the band Babyshambles. Through her acquaintance with supermodel Kate Moss, Irina got her ‘big break’. Moss personally handpicked Lazareanu to model for the December/January issue of Vogue: Paris, which she was a guest editor on. Lazareanu has since become an increasingly popular fashion model, breaking the record for most runway work in one season."

"Lazareanu is known for her quirky, vintage-inspired style - which has arguably contributed to the rise of her modelling career."

"As a result of her striking features and rock'n'roll semblance, Lazareanu has developed the status of 'official muse' to designers Nicolas Ghesquière and Karl Lagerfeld."

I think she could be the next Kate Moss. Her great sense of style could be define as rock chic. Really amazing!
