Define your style
I would say that my style is romantic and vintage-based. I love to wear vintage, but I keep getting into new labels that make clothes that remind me of the past, and that have a way of making vintage-based clothes that look modern at the same time. I try to wear whatever works the best for me; as much as I love crisp, tailored menswear styles on women I just can't pull them off myself, so for me it's usually clothes with soft lines. Also lots of dresses.

Homemade nutella
Can you think of a better way to start off the weekend than with a bit of homemade Nutella? For me it's the perfect way to reminisce over my childhood memories, especially over the afternoon snacks I had in the park. A mouthful of Nutella smeared on bread tasted like heaven after much playing, running and skipping rope. So, as soon as I found the recipe on David Lebovitz's I knew I had to do it and it didn't dissapoint me.

The grass is always greener on the other side
It may be hot outside but autumn is closer than expected. Being fall my favourite season, you have to understand me when I say I need to prepare everything in advance.Luckily, Greens clothes for a/w 11-12 are exactly what I had in mind: stripes, earth colours, loafers and classic coats such as duffle coats.

This week on pinterest
I am ashamed to admit this but I'm a bit obsessed with Pinterest. It's easy to explain: I love making lists and this way everything is visually organized in the same place. So, in a rather outlandish homage, every monday I'll summarize the things I liked throughout the previous week.

Hallelu
Hallelu is a North Carolina shop that hides a heartwarming story from a natural born entrepreneur and her partner in life. It's such a pity I've just discovered it now that we're approaching fall; their cozy and easy pieces are perfect for summertime. But I content myself thinking there's little time left to see what awaits for next season.

Bonnie and Clyde
From left to right: Beret and shirt topshop, eyeliner bobbi brown, zara skirt and ferragamo vara shoes.
Bonnie and Clyde is one of my favourite films and the costume design has a lot to do with that. The mix of the original twenties style and the sixties vibe is perfect.
Bonnie and Clyde es una de mis películas favoritas y el vestuario tiene mucho que ver. El estilo original de los años veinte pasado por el filtro de los sesenta es una mezcla perfecta.

On holidays
I am leaving on holidays for a much needed break -how merciful I am with myself- and I won't be posting till August 16th. Until then!
Me voy de vacaciones para disfrutar de un más que merecido descanso -cuán misericordiosa soy conmigo misma, de verdad- y no publicaré hasta el 16 de agosto. ¡Hasta entonces!

Doughnuts
Yesterday I was craving for something sweet and tender -not a hooligan- and I decided to do doughnuts. I used this recipe from Food and Cook and they turned out so good. As she says in the post they're easy to make you only need a bit of patience with times. They taste like heaven, believe me.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon active dry yeast, divided
- 1 cup whole milk, heated to 110˚F, divided
- 2 to 21/2 cups (320 to 400 grams) bread flour, divided
- 2 tablespoons (30 grams) superfine sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick or 2 ounces) unsalted butter or vegetable shortening
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 150 g. confectionarers sugar
- 3 or 4 teaspoon water (I actually needed two more)
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
"In a medium bowl, dissolve 1 tablespoon of the yeast into 3/4 cup of the milk. Add 3/4 cup of the flour and stir to create a smooth paste. Cover and let rest in a warm spot for 30 minutes.

Little Honey Pies
We're in the mid of summer wedding season and some of you are probably struggling trying to be original while being yourselves. If this is your case, I think headwear is a good option: it's quite easy to find something that appeals to your taste. I personally love floral crowns and these Little Honey Pies ones particularly. I simply adore the Pre-Raphaelite vibe.
