Leaving for Paris

On Sunday I'll be leaving for Paris and I will have two weeks to explore the city. Therefore I've made a list (it's an obsession of mine) of things I would like to purchase there, and on top of it, is getting something at Princesse Tam-Tam.

My love for this brand is well justified. To start with, it's made by women who know that not every kind of underwear fits every body. It's common -and very annoying too- to find a bra you like, whose style doesn't fit you. However, Princesse Tam-Tam makes a wide range of styles in the same fabrics, resulting in timeless classics.

Shopping recommendations are more than welcomed! (you can leave a comment or send me an e-mail)

Yes Princesse Tam-Tam is a good choice for underwear; they also have cute ballerinas.
If you want we can meet for a shoping day next week. I kind of like to make discover my city and I have a lot of free time next week.

You should explore Le Marrais and its shops.

have fun, you lucky thing!
i don't know much about the shops, apart from colette, which of course you will know about.

but you must go and visit oscar wilde's gravestone and plant a lipstick kiss onto it! especially as you're a fan.

hmm, there are so many options! i dunno how familiar you are with the city, but i spent this past sem there, so i will give u all my suggestions...

there are tons of very cute but slightly pricey boutiques in le marais, along with vintage shops.
for european and french chains (zara, mango, nafnaf, pimkie, h&m, etc) and a few smaller stores with cheap tops and dresses, rue de rennes is good (near montparnasse station).
if you want hi-tops/plimsoles like all the french girls wear, hit up bensimon.
galeries lafayette is good for designer and high-end stuff (i happily hit up the uniqlo temporary space while i was there).
nearby the galeries lafayette on boulevard haussman is my favorite european chain, stradivarius (sister chain to zara; on Rue de Chassee-d'Antin), which has absolutely amazing pieces at very reasonable prices (think tops for €10 and up, amazing skinny jeans for €25 and up).
if you get a longing for american coffee, the starbucks near metro opera is absolutely beautiful on the inside, but of course its more french to go to a cafe.
plus, colette of course, tho sadly i never made it there, having realized my mistake after leaving!

okay, those are my suggestions off the top of my head... have a great time!
