Pea coat

Today, making a concession to my irrational instinct, I decided my winter will be wrapped up with a pea coat. As if they mission of finding a coat wasn't difficult enough...(why on earth they do short sleeves coats?)

This impulse answers a childhood reminiscence. I remember I had a lovely red pea coat with velvet edgings and gold buttons.

The one on top is Built by Wendy and quite perfect. If only it was a bit longer!

Two street-style pea coats worn well.

I am ashamed! I have already purchased my winter coat! It is a deep purple/plum belted pea coat and it's gorgeous! I love pea coats too and decided a while ago that this winter that is what I wanted. Love these pea coats in the street style pictures and the paul and joe one is gorgous too.

I like the short one but it's not really a peacoat at that length. I've got a similar one by Anya Hindmarch - it's my smart jacket butI wear it with Nudies and a baggy tee - you know, the high-low thing!

OH! la lagrima:) i like so much this song.. i think it was on the soundrack of 'Matchpoint' no? it suits perfectly the last 2 pics!

lisa mona, yes it was! And if my ear memory(?don't know if that exists in English) doesn't fail me, the performer was also Pavarotti.

I like that movie a lot. I really believe it's one of Allen's masterpiece.

I know what you mean about the childhood memories, makes me think of wearing red wellies and splashing about in the rain (but thats what you get growing up in the UK!)

I prefer the long ones, and damnnn, seeing those photos makes me want to go to Paris, now!

as if you knew it.. Pavarotti died at the age of 71. have you seen him in any of his concerts? i had the chance once but i chose not to go bcz everyone said that he had lost his voice and prefered not to pitty him. rest in peace.

Allure said...

^really??! I didn't know it. No, I didn't have the chance to see him.
