Is Lucien Pellat-Finet plagiarizing Jean-Paul Gaultier?

Or is it just an inspiration? Let's see...

Jean-Paul Gaultier and his famous striped t-shirts.

Sailor hats all designed by Jean-Paul Gaultier.

The similarities are so obvious. Aren't they?

Though JPG loves sailor stripes, he certainly did NOT invent them! Lucien Pellat Finet is an amazing designer and BTW - he has been doing skulls for over a decade. Way before it became it a trend.

I love those sailor shirts, i really want 1, but i believe the theme is originally from Breton shirts, its a style Jean Paul Gaultier has taken.
Dont suppose you know where i can get 1 of those shirts though?
