Floral print dresses were huge last year therefore taking into account Cacharel is one of most important precedents, we can safely say it lost its chance. However, this year the French house returns to its roots making a collaboration with Liberty that it is now available at Aloha Rag.

Los vestidos de flores fueron una de las tendencias más importantes de la temporada pasada. Teniendo en cuenta que Cacharel sea su precedente más importante, podemos decir con seguridad que perdió el tren. Sin embargo, este año vuelve a sus raíces (que nunca debería haber dejado) y realiza una colaboración con la casa de telas Liberty que ya está disponible en Aloha Rag.

Perfection

The moment I saw this girl on Facehunter's site I had to look at her outfit twice and decide whether I love it or hate. I eventually decided for the former taking into account how difficult it is to be timeless, simple -but not boring- and fresh at the same time, all thanks to the small details. Moreover, with just a glance you can tell she put a lot of her personality into it and that's one of the things I LOVE about fashion.

Cuando vi a esta chica en la página de Facehunter dudé entre si su outfit me encantaba o simplemente lo detestaba. Y finalmente me decidí por lo primero teniendo en cuenta lo difícil que es ser atemporal, simple -pero no aburrido- y actual al mismo tiempo, y todo ello gracias a los pequeños detalles. Además con un simple vistazo -y sin conocer a la chica en cuestión- uno puede decir que ha puesto mucho de su personalidad y eso es lo que realmente me encanta de la moda.

15 minutes with you...oh I wouldn't say no!

Spring doesn't dare to enter here as we get occasional rays of sun. However, seeing these pictures from the Marni summer edition -an amalgam of the very best Consuelo Castiglioni has been doing so far- gave me a tremendous desire to walk the streets bare-legged. It lasted only till I looked through the window to realize that it continues raining cats and dogs.

Parece que aquí la primavera no acaba de atreverse a entrar y solo nos da pildorazos de alegría muy de vez en cuando. Para mi desgracia, todo sea dicho porque cuando vi estas fotos de la colección de verano de Marni -una amalgama de lo mejorcito que Consuelo Castiglioni ha venido haciendo hasta el momento- me dieron unas ganas tremendas de salir a la calle a pierna descubierta. Solo duró lo que tardé en mirar a través de la ventana para darme cuenta de que sigue lloviendo a mares.

Just a quick post to make a weekend film recommendation: Death in venice. The film, directed by Luchino Visconti, is based on the novel of the same name by Thomas Mann.

Un post rápido para recomendar una peli para este fin de semana: Muerte en Venecia. La cinta, dirigida por Luchino Visconti, está basada en la novela del mismo nombre de Thomas Mann.

The film tells the story of a German composer who after a hard time in life decides to leave for Venice looking for some peace of mind. However, his problems start as soon as he meets the young Tadzio and falls madly in love with him.

La película cuenta la historia de un compositor alemán que tras un duro periodo de su vida decide retirarse por un tiempo a Venecia buscando un poco de paz. Sin embargo, sus problemas empiezan cuando conoce a Tadzio, un jóven de tan solo 13 años del que se enamora perdidamente.
