In an increasingly globalised world, people want to stand out from the crowd.  Taking advantage of this, vintage shops are living their golden age. Many of these stores are opening their doors and being different from the rest it’s essential.  What sets Bows and Bandits apart are their typical Austrian vintage items which they combine with more rock & roll chic pieces. The result is a quirky aesthetic but very feminine after all. To top it off, they’ve recently opened a new section devoted to home décor which includes a nice range of the most coveted object right now: deer antlers.

Das Neue Schwarz is an online vintage store based in Berlin. Tanya is the avid collector behind the shop who happens to have a natural eye for snatching great pieces from designers like: Margiela, Acne, Hussein Chalayan, Prada, D&G, Dries Van Noten and many more. The list is endless. Let's say it's a kind of Yoox but with better prices. Another good point is the constant update inventory. The only thing that I don't like is that you can only pay by bank transfer (unless you live in Berlin, in that case you can pay in cash).

Das Neue Schwarz es una tienda vintage online con base en Berlín. Detrás de ella se encuentra Tanya, una coleccionista con muy buen ojo que tiene a la venta prendas de diseñadores tan dispares como: Margiela, Acne, Hussein Chalayan, Prada, D&G, Dries Van Noten y muchos más. La lista es enorme. Por establecer alguna comparación podría decirse que es una especie de Yoox pero con precios más asequibles. Otro de sus puntos a favor es que actualiza el inventario de forma constante. Si tengo que encontrarle alguna pega diría que no me gusta el hecho de que sólo se pueda pagar mediante transferencia bancaria (salvo si vives en Berlín, que puedes pagar en efectivo).

One of my favourite e-bay stores, Bows & Bandits, has recently launched its on-line store. Tha advantages are many: the navigation is easier, there are more photos, a zoom tool that allows to approach the garment and see the smallest details, and you can even create your own wishlist.

Una de mis tiendas de e-bay favoritas, Bows & Bandits, ha abierto su propia tienda on-line. Las ventajas son muchas ya que ahora la navegación es más sencilla, hay más fotos, una herramienta de zoom que nos permite acercarnos a la prenda para aprecia hasta el último detalle e incluso uno puede crear su propio wishlist.

Bows&Bandits' line is still the same. Its proposal for summer is very feminine; light floral dresses, full skirts combined with knitted cardigans, a great range of traditional Austrian jackets and tons of accessories ready to revamp our wardrobes.

La linea de Bows&Bandits sigue siendo muy parecida. Su propuesta para este verano es muy femenina; sencillos vestidos florales, faldas de vuelo combinadas con cardigans de punto, una gran variedad de chaquetas tradicionales austriacas y un montón de accesorios con los que renovar nuestro armario.
