The always avant-garde magazine Visionaire has teamed-up with Goyard to make 10 complete sets of its first 50 issues in a trunk made ad hoc for the anniversary. The only impediment for me to buy it, is the fact that I don't own $150,000.
But if you are willing to pay the mentioned amount, let me tell you it worths it. The truck includes things like "the "Vinyl Killer" Mini, a battery-operated car with a needle on its underside that plays music as it travels across the record grooves" or The Diana Vreeland memos issue.

&*$%!!!! >_< I seriously would kill to get this. Lookings AMAZING! Why wasn't I born a trust fund baby?
ReplyDeletei'm with you this 100%!!!!! Visionaire is FUCKING amazing!!
ReplyDeletehahahahaha @ the clothes horse.
ReplyDeleteI've seen the Diana Vreeland memos up on eBay occasionally but I've missed out every time. Next time!
ReplyDeleteAwhile ago, I did some research on "Visionaire," and this is a "reasonable" price for this kind of project. They do one-of-a-kind issues and don't follow common printing protocols, which is very expensive.
ReplyDeleteThe issues and series are limited-edition collectors' items, filled with original visions from artists and designers with noplace else to show their work. If you value visual imagery, and you've got a fat bank account, it's worth it.
woaw. just woaw
ReplyDeleteah, yes the small matter of that $150,000..!
ReplyDeletei too, am always looking for alternative magazine storage!
That is pretty fabulous but $150,000, not quite as fabulous!
