The Inditex* group, in its search for new markets, has just launched Uterqüe a new line focused in fashion accessories for women. They will also sell a selected range of garments and leather clothing.
The firsts shops -already opened in Madrid, Barcelona and La Coruña- as well as the products, are said to be very sophisticated.
Taking on account the current economic situation, it doesn't seem a clever movement. I am guessing everything was already prepared before the crisis took place.
* Inditex has eight sales formats: Zara, Oysho, Massimo Dutti, Stradivarius, Bershka, Zara Home, Pull & Bear and Kiddy's Class.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great news! It looks great! I guess you are right, their plan would be much earlier than this economic slowdown. However, it may be a great plan in the long run xxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteif the prices are kept zara-low i think that they will be the last to realize the crisis.
ReplyDelete^Zara has already realized the crisis, believe me.

ReplyDeleteInteresting. I've never been in a Zara, but I am dying to go. Slightly less intrigued by a purely accessory shop...
ReplyDeleteIt's funny/flattering what you said about my one year stinct in blogging. A year seems like a long time to me(yet it went really quick), but maybe in the long run it won't be?
well at least the store front looks nice!
ReplyDeleteOut of curiosity I was there on saturday and it's much classier than regular Zara accessories, I spotted a great pair of Marc Jacobs knock-offs going for 60€ that might be adding to my little shoe-family soon...
