The simplest things in life, can possibly be the hardest to achieve.

I want a high-waisted mini skirt in black. That's all I want. In crepe de Chine if possible and with a skate shape. But I can't find an affordable one that fits all the said characteristics, so I have decided to do it myself*.

I've already drawn a sketch of what I want:

    oh, I love this post! The pictures are perfect, and I can't believe that sketch is yours.

    Yesterday I bought myself a skirt which I guess is kind of in a similar style, but its quite bold in Red, from American Apparel. High elasticated waist (perfect for christmas time!) and big pockets low down.

    The song on your page is great... just to let you know. And, Erin Fetherston for Target has a skirt that's not your exact specifications but you might check it out, though I think making your own would totally be more awesome.

    I was browsing the AA website today and found two skirts that would (more or less) fit your description: the Mélange Jersey Pocket Skirt and the Thick Knit Jersey Skirt. Maybe even the Polyester Micro-Fiber Tulip Skirt.

    Oooh!!! I have been looking for a similar bold skirt during months...shops...second hand...e-bay...no success...
